We are now accepting submissions for the essay contest on the construction industry, aimed at working professionals in the construction field and high school students studying architecture and civil engineering, from today until June 30.
1. Overview of the 'Essay Contest on the Construction Industry'
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Construction Industry Human Resource Development Council (Secretariat: The Construction Industry Promotion Fund) hold an annual essay contest to enhance understanding and interest in the role and importance of the construction industry, and to make the work in the construction industry feel more familiar to the public.
This year, we are starting the recruitment for the 2023 fiscal year, and we plan to announce the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award, the Director of the Real Estate and Construction Economic Bureau Award, and the Excellence Award around October.

(1) 'Our Claims - Creating the Future of the Construction Industry'
Target: Individuals engaged in the construction industry
Theme: 'Thoughts on Working in the Construction Industry' or 'The Construction Industry that Continues to Support Everyone's Lives'
(2) 'High School Student Essay Contest'
Target: Students studying in high school architecture, civil engineering, etc.
Theme: 'The Work of the Construction Industry that Supports Our Lives' or 'The Shape of the Construction Industry Seen Through Learning'
3. Recruitment Period and Future Schedule (Tentative)
